Saigon Railway Station is 2.1 km away, and Tan Son Nhat International Airport is 5.3 km from the property. Ben Thanh Station, the start of Metro Line 1 towards Suoi Tien in Thu Duc, is 950 m away, so the metro is an option for trips out to Thu Duc. Most sights in the centre are reached on foot or by a short taxi ride, while the airport is the longest of these journeys.

Thai Binh Market is 150 m away for everyday shopping, and Ben Thanh Market, the Nguyen Hue walking street, the Opera House, the Central Post Office and Independence Palace are all in District 1. Tao Dan Park is 800 m away. The Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum is 1 km away and shows Vietnamese painting and sculpture, while the War Remnants Museum, 1.4 km away, covers the Vietnam War.
